Every year at this time, market analysts look towards consumers as a vital measurement of economic strength.  Well, this year’s holiday spending has not been overly promising. I honestly thought numbers would show a significant growth in online purchases over last year, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.  If you’re in retail stocks, watch them closely. I, for one, will likely not invest too heavily into this space, for now, based in the preliminary data.
