Holding into earnings is a gamble – simple as that.  It’s hard to know what a company will report or if their guidance will be viewed upon favorably.  I usually reduce exposure and stay focused on positions I’m the most confident in.  So, I have decisions to make.

Below are a few stocks I’m in that will be releasing numbers this week (red boxes, excluding CRANE) – as you can see, it will be an interesting week 😉

I’ll make my final hold/sell decisions the day before the actual release date.  For Tuesday, despite the risk, I do like SBUX (long term/China growth) and AKAM.  I’ll stay in OKE and MMM because of dividend. And, I’m on the fence with RTX and AMD (don’t want to get too greedy), although I like both long term.
