The Fed decides on Wednesday, the 18th, if there will be an adjustment to the Feds Funds Rate. Right now, we’re sitting a 2.25%, and most analyst believe we’ll drop down to 2.00%. I’m not too sure. There is division in the Fed and even though we’ll likely see a drop, it won’t be an enthusiastic move. Watch it closely… if the cut doesn’t happen, the equities market could take a hit.
From the Orange One… ugh.
European Central Bank, acting quickly, Cuts Rates 10 Basis Points. They are trying, and succeeding, in depreciating the Euro against the VERY strong Dollar, hurting U.S. exports…. And the Fed sits, and sits, and sits. They get paid to borrow money, while we are paying interest!
