Most of us in the West don’t live in an environment of fear. Today’s attack reminds us that we spend most of our time consumed by utopian distractions unprepared for this kind heartless destruction.
What’s the problem? Who’s to blame? It’s probably a dark mix of extreme ideologies, self-servicing misinterpretations of religion, greed, and a dash of American imperialism. One thing is clear – the end to the madness will not be led by pointing fingers of targeted hatred.
My thoughts are with Manchester.
