Welcome to dayjobTrader …

Thank you for visiting DJTrader. My name is Ryan (@urbanryno) and this is not like most stock-trading websites. Of course, I focus a lot of my attention on short-term trading.. equity/commodity/ETF trades, setups, commentary, etc. But, DJTrader also doubles as my personal blog with all my thoughts on life, my photos, and more.

If you're like me, you have a day job and it's very hard to participate as an active trader. Sometimes I go days without making one trade. However, I do manage to move in and out of positions on a fairly regular basis and many of my friends ask me how I do it. It's all here. I journal all of my activity and how I approach trading without being able to watch one tick during the day. I hope you enjoy your time at DayJob Trader!

Active Day Traders

For those of you looking to trade intra-day and are looking for day trade opportunities, you've gotta checkout BullsOnWallStreet. My good friend Kunal runs the show and I've been part of the team since the beginning. It's a fast-paced, fun world for active trading.

Follow My Swings...

Considering I have a full-time job, I keep it simple when it comes to trading. I base most of my trades on technical analysis against the backdrop of macroeconomics. Here at DJTrader, I will usually post the stock, the entry, the target, and the stop BEFORE I make any trades.

Membership is free. Yup. It's that simple - nothing to sign up for. I don't want your email address... just enjoy your visit to my world. Why would I charge you for access to a personal blog? Ha. I hope you find some of my trading ideas useful and remember to visit bullson.ws if you're an active day trader.
